Certifications

  • FSSC 22000

The major European grocery chains now require their suppliers to be certified according to a standard approved by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). FSSC 22000 is a GFSI-approved management system standard and is therefore an alternative to BRC and IFS. FSSC is based on ISO 22000 and is aimed at pure food companies as well as manufacturers of packaging materials, transport companies and restaurants and catering.

  • ISO 22000

    Food safety management

All companies that supply to the food industry need to show their customers that they understand the needs of the industry and take food safety seriously. With certification according to the international standard ISO 22000, each company shows that they have the right expertise and good control over risks related to food safety. ISO 22000 covers the entire food chain, but also all companies that are in some way connected to the food industry, such as feed producers, manufacturers of machinery and packaging and transport companies.
